Running Across Palestine for Olive Farmers

Run Across Palestine in February 2012.  On The Ground and the PFTA announce the Run Across Palestine. This ultra marathon will raise funds and awareness for the fair trade olive farmers of Palestine, planting trees an providing scholarships for children of olive farmers.  The purpose is to help re-establish sustainable olive growing practices in Palestine, whose history, economy, culture and identity is rooted in the ancient olive tree.  On The Ground is currently taking applictions from runners who would like to be part of this amazing adventure.  For more information on running or supporting the RAP, contact info@onthegroundglobal.org.
